![]() ![]() Basically, SD 3 is an amazing product that is not for people like me who just want to jam along with songs. No latency and a much more user friendly interface. I bought a discounted TD-17 drum module instead and am enjoying downloading drum samples to a SD c ard and transferring the files to the module. I finally gave up and purged my hard drive of all files related to SD 3. Also, after spending lots of time trying to get this to work, I couldn't get the latency issue resolved. ![]() Probably best to have a dedicated SSD external drive just for this software. It's probably good enough for professional studio recording. Basically, this product's capability is WAY beyond my needs. I have two e-kits both exhibiting the same. I have an Alesis DM10 MKII Pro kit that I am running in via a 15 ft USB cable into my computer’s USB hub. ![]() For starters, I am running: iMac 11.6, Logic Pro 10.7.4, a Focusrite 18i8 2nd Gen, and the most recent Superior Drummer 3 update. I'm sure this product is up to that task but I found the interface overwhelming. 3 E-Kit pads not working on USB with Superior Drummer. I bought this after buying a Roland TD1-MK electronic set, hoping to simply change drum/cymbal sounds and save my settings as custom kits (make one sound like Bonham, make another sound like Peart, etc.). ![]()
